About us

Two moms. Two journeys. One realization.

After Everyone was created by two mothers whose paths to motherhood looked very different—but whose experiences ultimately led them to the same question:

After spending so much of our lives making sure everyone else is okay… what happens to us?

One of our founders experienced a traumatic pregnancy when her twins arrived at just 23 weeks. In an instant, fighting alongside her babies became the center of her world. Through unimaginable uncertainty, fear, hope, and faith, she watched her tiny miracles fight and grow. She remains deeply grateful to God for her children and wouldn’t trade the life she has built with them for anything.

Our other founder’s journey to motherhood came with a different kind of waiting. She experienced infertility and eventually received an endometriosis diagnosis. After navigating the emotional ups and downs that came with that journey, she welcomed her beautiful children, who are ten years apart. Today, she is enjoying the family she waited so long to complete.

Different stories. Different struggles. Different seasons.

But motherhood taught both of us something.

It is possible to love the people in your life with everything you have—and still remember that you are a person with dreams, goals, interests, finances, an identity, and a future of your own.

That’s why we created After Everyone.

This isn’t a space about abandoning your family, regretting motherhood, or suddenly putting yourself above everyone else. We love the lives and families we’ve been blessed with.

It’s about making room for ourselves within those lives.

It’s about the woman who has spent years being Mom, wife, partner, daughter, caregiver, employee, problem-solver, encourager, provider, or simply the person everyone can count on—and one day realizes she hasn’t asked herself a very important question in a long time:

What do I want for me?
